October and November. Monsoon ends by late September, leaving skies clear and air clean. October offers warm days (highs 76-81 F) with virtually no rain; November is cooler (highs 70-76 F) and equally dry, with 91% clear or partly cloudy days (WeatherSpark). Both months combine ideal trekking conditions, cultural festivals (Dashain, Tihar), and the best Himalayan panoramas from the valley. Spring (March-May) is a close second: rhododendrons bloom and temperatures are warm, though some morning haze can reduce mountain visibility
